Is there a way to spell check my posts?

The forum software itself does not have spell check capabilities, however if you use Firefox as your web browser, it has a built in spell check function and works great with this forum, or any other forum for that matter. In fact, the Firefox browser's spell check feature works with almost any website that allows you to type something into it.

By far, most people use Microsoft's Internet Explorer (IE) as their default web browser because it came with Windows and was already installed. IE has no spell check function and is considered to have many problems. If you listen to our webmaster (forum member Brian Biggs), as well as most other internet experts, Firefox is actually a far superior browser and is available free. :D

To download Firefox, go to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ and click the "Free Download" button. When you install Firefox, it will allow you to import all of your bookmarks and most other settings from IE, so the migration to Firefox is painless and easy. Firefox is an "open source" browser from the Mozilla Foundation and they have recently released a new and improved version 3, which set a new record for most software downloads in one day with over 8 million Firefox 3 downloads in 24 hours on the day the new version came out.

To learn more about the new Firefox 3, watch this video: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/video/
